Schott) est une plante sous exploit\u00e9e au Burkina Faso alors qu\u2019elle peut contribuer \u00e0 atteindre l\u2019auto-suffisance alimentaire. Les contraintes majeures \u00e0 la promotion de sa culture est l\u2019indisponibilit\u00e9 de semences saines. Les cormes \u00e9tant riche en eau (75%) et en r\u00e9serves nutritives rend leur conservation difficile. L\u2019usage des biotechnologies v\u00e9g\u00e9tales est l\u2019un des moyens efficaces pour pallier ce probl\u00e8me, d\u2019o\u00f9 l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat de cette \u00e9tude qui porte sur la r\u00e9ponse d\u2019une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 locale de taro (Tabouchi) \u00e0 une phytohormone (6-benzylaminopurine) en culture in vitro. Apr\u00e8s bourgeonnement, les bourgeons ainsi obtenus ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9sinfect\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019aide de NaClO \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes doses (2,75; 3 et 3,7%). Les explants d\u00e9sinfect\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 repiqu\u00e9s sur un milieu \u00bdMS suppl\u00e9ment\u00e9 de BAP (2; 4 et 6 mg\/L). Au cours de l\u2019essai sept caract\u00e8res quantitatifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9s. Concernant la d\u00e9sinfection, la dose de 3,7% de NaClO a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le plus faible taux de contamination (43,33%). Le milieu de culture contenant 6 mg\/L de BAP a induit des rejets en inhibant le syst\u00e8me racinaire des vitro plants. Tous les param\u00e8tres de croissance mesur\u00e9s ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 des meilleures performances dans le milieu t\u00e9moin sauf le caract\u00e8re nombre de rejets (NR). Le milieu t\u00e9moin n\u2019a \u00e9mis aucun rejet alors qu\u2019il a favoris\u00e9 le d\u00e9veloppement du syst\u00e8me racinaire des vitro plants.
